In 1951, the founder and current president, Kanichi Nishimoto, invented an automatic printwasher and then, in the years following, a series of photographic processors. Then in 1976, the first 45 minute system, from film developing to finished color prints was announced. The QSS (minilab), which would allow even small DPE (Developing, Printing, Enlarging) shops to easily process film was the first in the world. The QSS series continuous to evolve keeping abreast with the changes in technology and the demands of our times.

Noritsu headquarters is situated on the hills of Wakayama, Japan. Within this spacious 177 acre (716,000 m2) property are the head office, development center, main factory, training center, dormitory, recreational facilities, etc.

The QSS minilab is exported to over 180 countries around the world. In turn, Noritsu has set-up branch offices and subsidiaries in major countries to provide direct sales and technical support. In the Phil., Noritsu Philippines, Inc. (NPI) is the leader in the photo-finishing and digital imaging business. We are a company known for quality products and services and for our valued relationships with our clients and customers.

First establishing its presence in the country in 1982 as a communications and service center between Noritsu Koki Co. Ltd. and to Philippine distributors, we have gradually expanded over the years. Starting our commercial operations in the country in 1996, we have established a reputation for adding a huge value to the world of photo-finishing and digital imaging.

Currently, we are engaged in the marketing, distribution, service, troubleshooting and maintenance of the world-renowned QSS machines, its spare parts and accessories in the country. The services being offered are marketed though our direct sales and support team consisting of sales professionals and engineers.
