By performing daily checks on your machine, you ensure that the machine is in tip top condition. Here are standard procedures for performing daily dhecks on your QSS-33 digital minilab..

Clean the External Parts of the Machine.

Clean the Monitor Unit. Use a clean dry cloth and wipe off the dirt and dust on the display area.
Note: Make sure that the monitor is turned off. This is because the surface of the display module has static electricity that may react to the cleaning material.

Clean the operation and edit keyboards and the mouse using a vacuum cleaner to ensure proper operation.

Clean the conveyor belt and the print full sensor. Use a firmly squeezed, damp cloth to clean the surface of the conveyor belt. Blow out dirt and dust on the print full sensor using the blower brush.

Clean the Paper Path

Pull out the paper supply unit. Release the latch and remove the Pressure Guide A and Paper Guide.
Note: Check that there is no paper being processed before performing the said procedure.

Wipe off dirt and dust on the surface of the advance roller using a firmly squeezed, damp cloth. Rotate the roller to clean the whole surface.

Clean the Pressure Guide A and Paper Guide using a blower brush and return them as they were.

Clean the inlet roller and the pressure rollers of the exposure advance unit. Use a firmly squeezed damp cloth to remove the dirt and dust. Rotate the knob counterclockwise to clean all surface of the roller.
Note: For better view of the inlet and pressure rollers, remove the paper supply unit. Be careful when handling and placing the paper supply unit.

Pull out the paper advance unit. Clean the arm unit and turn it by rotating the knob counterclockwise. Use a firmly squeezed, damp cloth to clean the unit.

Return all parts as they were.

Open the processor top cover and remove upper turn guide. Clean the processor advance roller using a firmly squeezed cloth. Rotate the roller to clean entire surface. After cleaning, restore the parts to their original position.

Cleaning the Light Path

Cleaning the Light Path of the S-4 Film Scanner

Remove the AFC unit. Using the blower brush to clean the light path. Press the lock lever and clean the internal parts of the AFC unit.

Wipe off dirt and dust on the surface of the LED unit using a clean, dry cloth.

Wipe off dirt and dust on the surface of the scanner unit using a clean, dry cloth.

Restore the parts to their original position.

Cleaning the Light Path of the S1-II Film Scanner

Remove the front and side cover of the film scanner. Using a blower brush, clean the surface of the film carrier and its light path.

Release the lock lever and clean the internal parts of the film carrier.
-
Wipe the surface of the scanner unit using a clean, dry cloth.
-
Return all the parts as they were.
